I stayed off social media after that because media was blowing it up and making me feel terrible. So I just tried not to pay attention to any of that. I just hung out with my family, and just kind of stayed to myself, honestly, and just had to let it go and let time pass.”

Trolley and shoe cleaning service
As part of my Uganda trip in July I ‘am fundraising to help schools and communities by building rooms for schools and providing better living conditions for the children across the schools I will be visiting. To help provide the funds necessary to build and rebuild parts of the schools I will clean clubs, trolleys and shoes during the Easter holidays, 29th March to the 5th of April in return for any donations that you feel suitable.

Simmo’s Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Sunday 25th March 2018 Sunshine greeted the 72 golfers who played in Sunday’s event. A shotgun start at 12:30pm got things underway, at this popular ‘Better-Ball’ competition. Since Christmas we have had an unprecedented 12” of rain and it is testament to Head Green Keeper Andrew Eddison and his greenkeepers that he managed to get the course playable on the day.
There was a great atmosphere in the clubhouse following the golf. All players enjoyed a pint or a glass of wine with a pasty after play, with Captain Peter hosting an auction and raffle after the presentation. A fantastic £589 was raised from the auction for the Captain’s Charities.
